Anybody using the rainforest 72 for cloning?

Im trying too make some cuttings too root but with 10% sucsess.

If i put a dome over some of them It goes better but this is not the way Its supposed to be.


If anybody have sucsess with this I would like the "recipe".

Yeah but If i cut em and just place em in my "hockey puch's" or my RW with net they just fall over and die because of lack of moisture..

Was told this was really easy to get going but it is failing big time. Its not Even to hot there an under my T5 moist is about 80%
 
Might be too much light. Cuttings need very little light. All i do is cut them and then into collars and netpots.

So you mean my T5 tube light hanging 60cm over clones is to much? Man,the grow store guy told me this was the light for making clones..

I have no clue now..just changed water,ph 5.8,water temp 22 degre celcius,took 2 clones 25cm and scraped+cut at 45 angle and straight into clonex gel..This must work or else im back to soil!
 
Think about it. Light is for growing but without roots the plant will kill itself trying to veg. It needs a low stress environment so it will grow roots, then give it the light so it can veg and be able to uptake nutes. A small 13w cfl is more than enough for.cloning.

Wish the grow dude had told me this from start...ill change to just a normal lightbulb right away and put the T5 over the mothers only. Thank's man Ill try it out :)
 
Out of my last 2000 or so i have lost one, due to a mis adjusted sprayer in a new manifold. I used to take extras because of strain count and chances of loss but now i just take 14 every time, thats all i need each rotation.
 
Sprayer you say? You dont use the rainforest 72 with "twisterpump" in the middle?

I did not place a single bulb but turned the T5 away from clones. Now they only have rest light shining from the wall,hope thats enough for em.
 
1 more q.......My new clones I am gonna do without dome over them. They will fall over and look like shit but should I just leave em like that? ALL cuttings I have made fall over without dome..
 
Im so pissed at my rainforest that i have put a cheap aquapump with 1 tube down a 10 liter bucket with taped mylar over it. Cut some holes for 4 netpots and filled it up with plain water and cut of 4 new clones. 3rd day now and guess what...THEY LIVE!

The rainforest crap that i tried before killed em after 12 hours! Ill see after 6-7 days if there are roots and if it is ill BURN the fkin rainforest crap and make a bigger cheap cloner that I`m gonna name "The Mysil Special" If it works !
