Rapid rooters are awesome. I just dig out enough soil in the pot the plant will grow in and stick the rapid rooter into that hole so it is flush with the surface of the soil. Then, just as the guy below me says, Take a 1/4" deep tiny notch in the top of the rooter. Place the seed right there only 1/4" down, then cover it with the tiny notch of rooter. Just give it a tiny splash of water every day and you will have 100% germination rate. You dont need a ton of light on it. Dont keep it too close either and it wont dry out so fast. Should pop in less than 72 hrs. They are perfect for germinating in and you dont have to deal with other methods. If you are growing in soil, then you dont have to do anything because it is already dug into the soil.
