Raptor 8

Hello all well i have a magnum xxxl 8 inch and was going to upgrade. On craigslist there are 2 new raptor 8's im thinking of picking up for 340$. Does anyone know if these are good hoods, they look bad ass. And are a couple inches slimmer than my ocho and are wider. Any thoughts need feed back as i am picking them up tomorrow

Raptors are pretty much the same thing as the Magnum XXL's they are just made by different companies Raptor = Hydrofarm and Magnums = Sunlight Supply .. I run 2 raptor hoods and I get a 5' x 5' light foot print per hood using 1000W in each hood. They arent that much different in size are they?

I think the raptors are a little bigger. And slimmer. So 2 raptors in a 6x6 would be over kill, im only rocking 9 plants at the moment. So a 1k is good for 9 plants. What is the max plant count per 1k?
