rasta beards

i was talking to this rasta guy and i asked him if it was just a coincidence that they were all able to grow full beards like jesus. and they dont believe in shaving....even rastas that are like 19...they all somehow have full beards..

he told me that they rub the ashes from weed onto their face, is there any logic to this? cuz i wanna full beard but i dont wanna feel like a dumbass ashing my face

shaving every day will help your facial hair grow faster if that's what you're after. Shave even if you really don't to. Puberty always helps. I can grow a full beard in about a week, but I'm 30

most of them tell me they never shaved in their life, cuz they were raised rasta, so it got me real confused.

Ok so I like wanted to post to this, found link on google(was looking sumthin kinda dif), and was like nah i dont wanna make an account. . . .to my surprise its RIU hahaha. Now Idk about rubbing weed ash on your face to stimulate hair growth, but ill tell you a secret that i suppose isnt a secret anymore if I tell you but here we go. Weed ash cures acne. Now I havnt tried this on full blown acne,but if you got a zit just put sum weed ash for like 3 days or so and poof itl clear it up. Kinda into alchemy and had this spur of the moment idea to rub it on my pimple one day, it works for me, and ive told people who dont even smoke and they tried it and loved it. But yeah so not sure if it helps but there ya go. Lol I was gonna log onto here and post this anyways hahahaha.
HHMMMMM while we were on the topic of rasta beards(the thing tht I was looking up), does anyone know if its ok to shave the side of your beard, because Ive noticed a lot of rasta dont grow significant sideburn beards, and much of their cheeks are bare. anyone?

It's rat of the nazerite vowe that blade nor comb shall touch ones head and one shall not shave the corner of the beard. The first bit obviously explains the locs the corner can be interpreted differently but is to be literally in my opinion chin or jaw line.

poundsmoker, that was Bob's opinion as well. He never had hair on his cheeks, just jaw line and chin.
