Waterfalls seem to work better for me. Over the 3 years I ran my RDWC system, airstones were always a constant maintenance issue.

What exactly do you mean by waterfalls? Also I’m going to be trying out soaker hoses as air stones. Saw a guy make them and they put out ALOT of fine bubbles.

Super old thread, but if anyone is revisiting this, instead of the hole in the tent for his purposes, why wouldn't he just put the planters on stands?
