Re-appraisal inspection?? WTFF!!??

i would say calm down.. we got this same letter about two years ago, and i stood waiting for the dude to come to our house.. they never do.. they may come to like one house in the town, and see what the basic layout of that house is and just use that as like a diagram for all other houses in the neighborhood that are like the same style... like for instance, they will use one tudor style home to judge every tudor style in the town with... this is only a nice way to tell you that they are planning on raising your taxes.. mine went up about two grand or so after an appraisal that we never got... our letter said all of the same things that yours did, and like i said, my house nor any of our neighbors were ever inspected, nor any of the other people whom i had talked to in our town.. i don't know who's house they used to judge everyone elses from, but it was no one whom i talked to, which had to be about 30 residents out of my small town...
i hope this helps to ease your nerves some.. i say leave the garden the way it is, you have nothing to worry about.. i know i freaked just like you are now, and nothing came out of it other than my property taxes being raised... which i never understood as they were never in my house, but yet they still went up none the less...
