Re-posting due to not getting anywhere

Yeah you need a better nutrient program. I'd order 3 part general hydroponics flora series, or go buy it at the store depending where you live. Its pretty fail safe. Does your system spray the roots? How do these get water, that wilt is bad man. RO water or tap?

I use the Flora series....very easy, even at the beginning....

Less than $100 US for three gallon bottles (Micro, Gro, Bloom) as 303 mentioned. Pretty good bang for the buck.

It's not the nutes, they are fine. It's a little tuff for a seedling or clone to get started in just hydroton. Lots of folks will use a rapid rooter, or rockwool cube to start with. 2ml per liter, and lots of top watering until your roots are hanging down in the res.

I can agree with this dude and makes sense and hope this is the case for this plant. Peace

Believe it or not a homemade fertilizer got it looking better and if i say the name everyone will be shocked coz no-one likes it lol

Hey mate. I had a look over everything and can't think of a thing that hasn't been said already. Sorry I don't have any secret knowledge that will fix it right up.

For future reference, I think it's a good idea to research products before you buy them. Hydro store workers can say funny things, and I am wary whenever anyone says "This stuff is Amazing".

Can you take a picture of the roots?

EDIT: I've had friends grow decent plants with MG start to finish. Definitely not the fattest buds, but the plants looked healthy. I'm not suggesting you run with MG for all your grows, but it's not as shit as people make it seem.

well, at the very least you are learning quite a bit. I think you may be giving accolades to your Mg fertilizer when it really isn't the cause for your plants looking better.

Here is my take on what happened.
1. not enough top watering initially, poor root development.
2. you used superthrive in your DWC which can cause a bad bacterial outbreak.
3. your roots were battling bacterial outbreaks which results in poor uptake which can manifest as curled leaves yet no burn tips.
4. you were over fertilizing them
5. your roots are still looking a little iffy.. why are they brown?

If I were you. I would do a complete rez change and use zone or h2o2 or both. Reduce the nutes. Never use superthrive or any kind of root excelerator in an aerated rez.

2 votes for Zone or h2o2. I asked DM about using both and they said it makes the zone less effective. But either way I would get one of those two in your rez.

Legallyflying... I'm oblivious as to why using a roots excelerator is not good in a dwc type setup. Why is that? And i"m not trying to say it's good... I just don't know either way.

Thanks jigfresh for dropping by coz there's no nutes in my res no i was thinking about going half ml/ltr and how much h2o2 should i add?

i dont think i watered from top once so its a good learning mistake for not time lol

I'm gonna go with half ml/ltr and go with 5ml h2o2 for every 10ltrs and see how it is in a day or two, would that be ok???

I run 5ml/gallon of h202 29%. If you're is 17.5%, then maybe you should run like 7.5ml/gallon?

Something to that effect I would guess.
