RE: The changing of the times

Hey guys just a quick lighting question. I am currently growing a couple of plants in a small cuboard under a 250watt MH light. I also have a 400watt hps light I am going to bud under. question is should I change the time to 12/12 before I go the HPS?, should I grow for a couple of days under the HPS before changing to 12/12? or should I just change times when I change lights. It's not going to matter too much when you change the light. If I were you, I would probably switch to the HPS about two weeks prior to beginning the flowering cycle. Reason being, that the 400w HPS is significantly stronger than the 250w MH. I'd want to give the plant a bit of a growth boost before starting the flowering cycle. Others may have a different take on this, but that's how I'd do it.

yea i agree with roll8. the hps light you have is much more powerful so i would switch it a week or two before flowering.
