that for sure sucks. as cliche' as it is a.a. or n.a. they really do save lives, the only catch is the individual with the problem has to want to change. if she is content their is absolutely nothing you can do to help her. however i do know from personal experiance the more solid and consistant the support group ie; family and friends the more consistant the recovery assuming she wants help. its a terrible situation having someone you love go thru anything like that. i wish you the best of luck. oh yea and what he said ^^ google your local area do some research because properly armed with the facts you will stand a way better chance against the disease. you really want to go the extra mile? change her diet and remove any food or food product that is used in the fermentation process from her diet. including breads and fruits. its a fascinating subject for me so excuse the rant. i will try to be short lol. here is why... once a person becomes an alcoholic they have turned their body into a science experiment with yeast and candida albicans that mutate. watch the food she eats and her reaction to it. i would be willing to bet $$ that the food she craves and eats is all the ingrediates to make jail house pruno. its gross but there it is...
