Yes, That is clear. But you are not "Wrecked" are you? At any rate, I do not plan on using flourescent lights. They don't seem to get around the whole plant well enough. Thanks for the clarification.

Well, maybe things have changed, but I don't trust the Feds. They seem to still be able to put people in prison despite the California laws. I have a friend who's son just did two years in prison for providing medical marijuana under the California MM laws and guidelines. It totally wrecked him being in prison for that long unjustly.
So, I don't think this article makes me feel safe yet.

hey tree-- take blues first piece of advice and reasearch as much as possible...you will find real quick that there are a 5 thousand people on here that claim to grow pot and about 50 that really do and 5 that know what they are talkin about...the numbers are a bit exagerated but you get the point....anyway the best way to learn how to grow is to just do it....you can ask every question in the world and read everybook in the world but experience is your greatest teacher...good luck

That does not mean that federal law CANT do anything. I've had two friends charged with possession while they had their med cards. One got away, one got his bong taken. My old room mate got a felony for cultivation and he had his med card.

well, i have had friends who had ALL their stuff returned. even cash and weed. returned to them from the local sheriffs department. we can tell stories all day or we can keep an eye on "The Supreme Court". i'll watch the courts, thank you.

I'd love for things to change, its just going to take longer. I can get away with it right now which is fine for me.
longer than what? the supreme court case was 2 weeks ago. it changes everyday, you just have to watch.

Hey Nick - What you say is true and I am doing as you have suggested. I am just going stir crazy waiting for my seeds to sprout, which is the first step. It has been a week that they have been between towlpaper. I have about 10 more to experiment with. So, until I can proceed to potting the seeds I am enjoying conversing with everyone on the website. I have been going to various parts of the forum and have really learned a lot in the time since I have joined (about 2 weeks). It seems like the easiest way to get Medical MJ. Finding a grower here in my Oregon city would not be easy for me since they really are clamping down on all drug activity here. They have a sign posted as you enter the downtown area "You are Entering a Drug Free Zone".

Thanks for the great info fdd2blk, as usual good stuff.
And Flouros work pretty good for veg. These pics are 8 weeks veg from seed, the first 6 weeks were under 279 watts of cfl. Don't expect to get pounds though.

guess my second piece of advice is ask questions. HOW did you get a pound+ per plant using floro's?
Not really interested in proving it's possible, all I can say is do some searching. There's plenty of info how it's accomplished. Yes it takes an excessive amount of lighting, and some supplemental natural light, but I'm willing to bet some pretty good cash I can exceed 2 on the next round. I'm adding Co2 on that one.
A bit fed up with the juvenile attitude (as well as the obvious age of most posters) this will probably be my last post here. I'd be happy to show you my crop if you're willing to come to Pensacola, Fl. Otherwise...get over yourself and what you hear is right...most of what you've heard comes from juvenile's like yourselves.

Really? That's as crazy as betting $$ that you will pull 2lbs/plant. As heavy as the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) is hitting Florida grow ops, I find it fascinating that not only do you open up your grow space to natural light along with the massive amount of flouro lumens required to produce 1#/plant, but that you are inviting visitors! Even with flouros, with the added natural light, could you imagine the heat in Florida?
I maintain you are not one of the 50. This is a Kosher site by the way!

Hi Everyone - Have learned a lot from this thread. Think I will suggest that we start another thread somewhere. My seeds still have not sprouted. I am going to start another 5 seeds and put them on a heating pad from the getgo. These seeds are ultra tiny. I did take off all the foliage connected to the seed in order to "inhale" it at some point. Maybe I damaged the seeds in the process. I thought the seeds would be hard enough to withstand a little manipulating. Still keeping my other seeds growning. I might be imagining it but I see a little circular kind of embryo growing that I can see with a magnifying glass. Still hope to see some sprouts because I can't afford the outrageous prices of ordering seeds.

I still call bullshit. You could never guess my age anyway.
I do believe I said something along the lines of show us your ways and post some pictures, Mr. "I don't smoke". Get off your damn high horse and show us some proof, evidence, theories. You have not told us anything other than you used flouros, and now you state a massive amount of flouros and natural light. Using flouros in natural light in Florida would be blocking too much sun to be doing any good considering the low light output of flouros.
Give us specifics or go home.
Don't be a scaredy cat and post some pictures of the exact setup and describe what you do to maintian such impossible results.
SeeMoreBuds couldn't even produce that, and he is no first time grower... In fact I would bet my entire setup that no first time grower could ever grow that much under flouros. Because if you can I sure wasted a bunch of money.
