Ready for harvest?? Nice Bud and trichrome shots

Okay so late flowering with my first grow.

About week 12 having grown 12/12 from seed. About 7 weeks since flowers started developing.

Thc Bomb in coco with canna nutes.

So you think they're ready?




Do they need to go now? should i start flushing?

Im a bit apprehensive as its my first grow.

i would start flushing now and when you think youve flushed em enough harvest them....i think they say like at least 5 days of flush time or something like that. but ya, flush em and harvest

unless they still look premature. but i think by the time ur done flushing em theyll be good

actually they still look kinda white. idk if its the strain or what. can you post a pic once youved flushed

I looked at the trichromes under the microscope and they look cloudy so if i flush for 5 days i reckon they should be ready by then??

Dont want to harvest too early though if they could get more yield or potency.
But also dont want to leave it too late either cause you quickly start to lose potency

No they aren't ready imo. Those are the trichs on the leaves and you should be going by the trichs on the calyxes. Strains are different but my 8 week strain just harvested day 58 from pistil and the calyxes trichs just started to amber but the leaves' trichs had a whole lot more ambers. More so most the pistils had receded, there were very few new calyxes being produces and almost all of the calyxes were and plump and almost split. every white hair you see on there has the potential to brown and recede and the attached calyx swell up and pack on more trichomes. BTW you shouldn't use the flash when taking the shots. Use a flash light or something if they are in the dark. If not just try and put a daylight temp bulb over them.

I'll keep going with the neuts then.
I'll get some new pics without the flash when the hps is off and upload them and also make sure to get a look at the trichs on the calyxes.
I didnt know to go by the calyxes and not the leaves.

I would let them go another week then flush for a week...otherwise looking very nice

buds looks great man, still got a week of two tho for sure, patience is the key here tho
