So I've been debating over light height throughout the grow cycle, and I'm settled after intuition and advice/observation that I should set a high mount height at flip and let them stretch into the space, then adjust post stretch/as needed. Like 32"-36". Having plants stacked too tight has been an issue going 20"-24" straight out the gate. The canopy on my 5 gal is pretty huge, but I'm watering every day right now. I was thinking I might want to use 3 gallon fabrics instead of 5's, but I'm a little concerned about how quick they dry/drink...
Several 5 gallons are going the bung veg up too much...pretty much settled on 3's.
I'm liking the training strategy, cuz it can slow em. Top once, then grow out till 4 weeks, train for a week, then un-bind it for a week or until sex. Transplant, let root for a week, tie down for a week, then let it loose and flip it.
