i have a clone, a c4, and was wondering if it looks ready to start flowering.
i wanted to experiement with different sizes etc., possibly for a future sog.

how much bigger will a plant this size get when flowering is induced, and what sort of yield can i expect?
...is it worth flowering plants this big?

thanks.

good rule of thumb is it is 1/3 its final size when you start to bud it, but i think i would hold off at least a week or 2 more to bud that one, if its a good strain might as well wait 2 more weeks for more bud right?

Guys he is talkign about doing a SOG grow. If your goign to try SOG I would try flowering it now.

With a SOG I read its good to take a nice sized clone and veg it for 1.5 to 2 weeks then put it straight into flower.

ya thats what i wanted to experiement with. say ihave room for about 22 plants in 1 system, would sog be suitable, and would a clone this size work?
she's been veging for about 2 weeks or so.

i may just let her veg for a couple more weeks though, just to try out this bud before setting up that other system which i could possibly use for sog.

thanks for your input guys.

For Sog I like to grow them to there 5th node, then trim off the 2 lower branchs, let it recover for about 2 weeks, by then you are on the eight node, that is when it goes into bloom...That system works very well for me...Have you heard of a product called Bush Master? I spray this on them when I take the lower branches off. To keep a long story short, bush master helps keep the plant from stretching, this helps control hight issues during a SOG grow. Hope this helps..Of course this is completely my opinion and my way of doing a SOG, in no way am I saying that it is the "Best" way...GL finding your way..
