Ready to flower?

Hey everybody, I have been snooping around these forums for about a year now. But, this is my first post here.

This is my second grow. My last grow was very successful, but became very tall after I started flowering, and I only have limited space this time.

I am just wondering if this plant could be forced to flower at this size? I know my yield will go down, but I am also trying to finish her up by mid April. She is exactly 3 weeks old today.

Those leaves are massive. Looks good. If still want a good yeild you could try something called fimming or topping

Thanks Joe! She is growing very quickly, short and bushy too, which is ideal for me. Would topping cause the plant to take any longer to mature? I do want her to be done by April.

wow, great looking squat plant. ya, i would say top her because you only have on plant in there and that would make her bush out more(not a bad thing when you only have one plant). ive heard different opinions on if topping delays harvest or not. i dont think that it would delay it more than a week at the most. some ppl say that it has no effect on harvest time. plus if you top or FIM her you will get more bud sites, which is a good thing, right? lol just my humble opinion. ohh ya nice walmart pot too, heh. BTW, i love my wal-mart pot! I guess it takes one to know one. $0.88!!!!

Hey guys! I decided not to top her...I am just more concerned about her finishing when I want her to. She is still doin well though. I started 12/12 on Wednesday night, so I'm now into my 3rd full day of flowering. I'm goin to take some pictures, so I'll be back in a few mins with a photo update!

Ok guys, heres the photo update. 3rd day into flower, and only a total of 24 days old. As I said, I decided not to top her, but I think she'll still turn out well. She's gotten a little bigger since Wednesday night, especially with her undergrowth. I'm just waiting for her first buds to pop. I cant really remember how long it took for my last grow to show buds, but I think it was about a week. Anybody have imput on how long your plant took to show after switching to 12/12?

are you feeding that thing steroids???? amazingly short and stalky. well considering your plant isnt sexually mature yet, i would have to say you might start seeing preflowering in a week. two weeks and you'll start to see the tops start to tighten up a bit, third week you'll def start to see them little nugs form..... idk but that depends on the strain(it looks mostly indica though), and thats just my humble opinion. no facts, just a guessing game. keep us posted, i would like to see her get mature. maybe post a couple pics once a week would be kool. Will do LiveAndLetLlive! Thanks for the compliments. I'll post every Wednesday from now on, as every Wednesday is a weekly birthday.

I dont give my plants any nutes. Fundamentally incorrect, but naturally correct. I let them grow the way God intended. Not that I think nutes are wrong to use, but they're just not for me.

Watch for a new thread next Wednesday...and thanks for the support!:hump:
