Realistic Yield?

From a 6x6x6 foot room, is over a pound a realistic yield?

Was thinking of a 600w HPS, but for a yield like this, probably 1000 or maybe 2 6's?

IF you SCROG'd an area this size, what do you think is a realistic yield? Optimally? Vegging for aprox. 4 weeks, topping or FIM'd a few/times per plant

A friend of mine who grows says he pulls about a pound a plant. Just wondering if this is possible in an area this size with the lights listed above

First off u won't be topping a few times with a 4 week veg. I would go with two 600's over a 1000.
Yield anywhere from 1 gram to a 1000. I'm guessing this will be your first grow so realisticaly you might yield a pound in that space with 2 X 600's

O well maybe I am wrong. But I was under the impression you can top at about 2 weeks veg, than again after about another 2 weeks. NO?

And I was kind of leaning towards the 2 6's as well. Do you think a single 1000 would stay cooler than 2 6's?

He pulls a pound a plant indoors?.. Theres tons of different contributing factors that apply to yeilds.. Soil, Air Flow, Nutrients, Lights, I think 4oz a plant would be a good start.. A pound a plant indoor would be a huge plant, and would have to be done by a very expierenced grower, nd its still questionable then, aim for 2 oz a plant.. Scrogg will help yeild very much.. But fimming can be done several times for each branch.. Just maybe not in the same time frame..

2 6's would stay cooler than a 1000w.. They both need proper circulation though..

Thats what he said. lol He said he usually only does 3 or 4 plants and never gets less than 3 pounds. He said he had like 100 tops or something. Guessing he veg's for a while and just keeps on topping. Not sure, still new and only talked to him once for about 5 min.

His carbon filter is fuckin huge tho. Like damn near 5 feel tall probably. lol Didnt know they even come that big.

I may end up going with the 2 600's than. Depending on income. I may just run 1 600 this time than upgrade for grow # 2.

I need about a pound for this first grow. Im going to be allowed to have 6 flowering plants. And most likely will not be doing more to stay legal and as un-paranoid as possible.

So really hoping I can pull a pound from 6 plants under a single 600w HPS. It may be wishful thinking, but im confident I can get a little over .5 gram/watt on this grow.

Look in to ther Scroggers forum.. It can help your yeild drastically, And all the nuggs you get will be nice big well lit colas..
