Really Need Help About, 12/12 Since seed, Soil, and Fertilizer.

- I heard about 12/12, it would be faster, smaller, but the same bud size, while my, Grow Room is very small (1.2mx1m)
What's The Pros and Cons About 12/12 since seed?
should i change to 12/12 soon?

- I have 2 Soils :
1. The first one is Compost (which i'm using right now)
I bought it in Tradisional Market, The Farmer said, I only need this, i think without soil, i really need help, cause i already started with this...
the detail that's written in the bag :
N : 23,3 - 28,5 Gr/Kg BK
P : 4,46 - 6,51 Gr/Kg BK
K : 12,5 - 3,27 Gr/Kg BK
PH : 7,8 - 8,4
Salt Content : 2,9 Gr/l

2. The second is Real Soil, I bought it in Ace Hardware (I'm not using it yet)

P : 0,65 %
K : 0,83 %

When should i use it?
with which Soil?
How to use it? (how much, when, how often)

I would mix the two soils together. The white balls is perilite, you need more of that. the more the better for drainage or your plants may drown. I wouldn't give it any fertilizers for a while cause your soil is loaded with them or you will burn them. Wait till your plants tell you what they need and then give it to them. Good Luck

Going straight into 12-12 lowers yield for sure. Keeps them shorter though you can do that through training in veg.

Ive just started growing too (pure AK) ... im getting pretty good growth results first time round in veg i think, Im using almost exactly the same space as you give or take an inch !!

Im using john innes no1 growing media mixed 50/50 with perlite, great for drainage but i do feel the plant isnt so sturdy in the pot ill defo go 75/25 next time.

lights - I have a 600Watt metal halide for vegetation 18/6 but most of the time i have it dimmed down to 400watt + lumen boost seated about 12inches from the plant tops , its a good digital ballast so when flowering calls i can swap the bulb out for a HPS on the same ballast and run 600 watt on a lumen boost 12/12. The metal halide have made my plants grow really neat and stocky !! Ive got no stretched stems or anything and there growing rapid. There 15 days old from seed and im shocked how quick its grown its about 6 inches with multiple nodes and stems with thick full size green leaves already.

Fertilizer wise, i use miracle grow, Its cheap and has high Nitrogen content, Generally very good N-P-K and all trace elements.

The only thing im strugglilng with is soil and water PH, Im using aquarium PH down for my water and it seems to not be causing issues, the soil is a different story i cant get it below about 6.5 which is slightly more alkali than it needs but its not causing any drama so im inclined to leave it while in seeing good growth results.

With regards to 12/12 from seed i would have thought it will initiate flowering in an AK strain therefore vegetive growth will come to a halt gradually over a couple of weeks while it prepares to flower.

Id say your better off doing 18/6 if not a full 24 under a metal halide, until your plant is about 3/4 size to where you want it, then go to 12/12 on an HPs bulb and it will flower.

Im not an expert but i have read Mel Franks book and its pretty in depth ))

and now, how should i change the soil?
i mean i already use a compost, there would be a root, right?

how much soil and compost do i need to mix? 3 soil / 1 compost?

and if i already buy a perlite, you mean i need to mix those 3 together?

Okey, i'm gonna buy MH bulb soon (for my second grow), and make it 24 full
but now I'm gonna change it to direct 12/12 till flower

but once again, i still can do the 'Cloning', right?
there's no such 'Clonex' gel in my place, i did found a Root Hormon Booster, could I use it?

when is the great time to Clone in 12/12 cycle?

I think you are confused a bit. Veg them out first with 18 hours of light. When you will flip to 12-12 for flower, they will stretch 2-3x in height. The more you vegged prior, the more nodes, the more buds, etc.

I don't think potency changes, but you will yield more bud if you veg first. Othwerwise, we would all go stright to 12-12.
