So If i'm correct your saying you transplanted your 2" RW cubes into A VERMICULITE AND PERLITE netpot an are attempting to train roots to go toward the DWC/Bubbler System.
If so,
The correct way is to stop top watering, and have the humdity draw the roots out of the bucket,
In systems like you have described the RW does the exact oppsite of what it does in any other system, IT DRIES out and the roots go downward for life survival.
I killed alot of plants having to learn to let the bubbling /humdity draw out/down my roots, and one of the hardest things in hydro for me.
I also used ultrasonic FOGGERS to help with struggling plants and SLow Plants but the Clog/Break Easy. But Get your bubbling almosttouching/ touching the bottom of the net Pot, or get the mist/humidity going and let your pot dry out.
After 4 days it should send out a root and find its way down, which you can then adjust levels to desired range once it gets good roots down in.
And all without barely ever lifting up the pot. (or IN GREEN LIGHT ONLY)
