I run a DTW in my other room and it gunks up my reservoir and lines too much. I’ve resorted to just hand watering it in by itself once a week.

Click to expand... I used to use it in dirt. Tried it in recirculating ebb n flow. Same results as you. Too much slime.

I believe the particular acids help the bacteria adjust ph? I thought I read that somewhere. Could be something else though. Lol
