Recomendation for 3X3 half of a 3X6 SOG

Hi,

What I am doing is a perpetual SOG, 2 tables 3x3 side by side. Right now I have a 1k HPS over both tables. What I want to do, is put, say a blackstar500 over one table for the first month of flower and do the finishing month with a 600 HPS. I am using an adjust-a-wing on the HPS. With the HPS over 1 table there is about 50% light bleed over to the second table.

So the question is, what would be the best LED to put over the babies for their first month of flower, knowing they will be finished under HPS, and the HPS sits right next to the LED?

Also when next summer arrives, I think that I want to replace the HPS with another LED system, for obvious reasons.

There wont be an LED that works better with HPS than the next. Besides making sure you have Blue spectrums for the Veg and Red spectrums for the Flowering, the rest is going to be personal opinions/experiences. If your eventually looking to remove all the HPS gear - I would go with a full spectrum. Looking through grow journals with people using the LED retailer your looking to buy is a great way to get honest information. If you cant find any besides the retailers youtube videos, it usually a bad sign imo.

i wouldnt recommend doing that. I didnt have much luck going from led over to hps after 30 days when i tried it. Stick to leds over 1 table and your hps over the other.JMO
