Recommendations and thoughts on a complete kit

Have a friend that has had some first time outdoor experience and success and now wants to try indoor growing. He's only looking to grow 2 plants, so a 2x2 should be fine for him. I was starting to put together a list of items for him to buy to get started. I found this complete Mars Hydro kit when I started looking for tent links.
I've heard decent things about the Mars Hydro light so I'd figure I'd ask for thoughts on it. I'm sure the accessory item are probably low quality but he isn't looking for anything fancy. Thanks for any input!

My 2x2 with a Mars Hydro TS 1000, 2 plants - 9 days into flower. Only 4 days using the Marshydro, before that I had a Growstar 600w “Blurple” style led with duel Cree cobs (it’s now hung in my 3x3 veg/autoflower tent with a 1200w Growstar brand quad Cree cobbs). The ladies LOVE the Mars way better, huge improvement go with it for sure, it’s perfect for a 2x2. My tent isn’t Mars Hydro, it’s secret Jardin. I went with them because of the customizable ports, flanges and light baffles.

I have a 2ft x 2ft tent, and man is it tiny....my one fairly large but not massive plant totally filled it. If you're pushed for space then go for it, but for future-proofing you'd be better with slightly bigger. As I said...if you got the space for it.

The main problem with 2x2 tents is that they are so much deeper than they are wide. Means you've really got to make use of the limited canopy space, as most of your plant will be shaded from the light at the top.

And these 2 fill it nicely, and are gonna get bigger for sure. This one clone from one of the 2 is next to flower after, it’s definitely going to fill it completely for sure. The clone that’s next to flower (the bushy beast under the burple in the veg/auto 3x3x6tent) after is cut from the plant in top right under the scrog. It’s 35 days old and bigger then it’s mom was when she started flowering and I won’t have space to flower it for like another 55 days hahahahaha
