For draining, I do have a simple drain valve installed, but what I do to drain this system... where the system pumps water into the epicenter, I can basically fit that to fit a hose and run the hose to a floor drain, so it drains pretty quick with a n 840 gph pump. They all drain at the same time. I can run a hose full blast and it will fill the system up evenly, it distributes water very quickly. This is my first run at it, and my system is setup to continuously top off with a ro water between nute changes, so I'm hoping for minimal maintenance. As for a reservoir, I have a 46g trash bin with RO water for weekly changes and otherwise the system is hooked up to the ro system and tops off via a float valve. It's easy to setup a res w/ water lines, and it's pretty cheap. Now, I'm hoping for once every 10 days or so water change and that's it as far as maintenance. We shall see!
