Red/brown hairs on bud!

Hi everyone,

Do any of you have any idea what could be causing little red/brown hairs on my buds, most are white and all, but a few of them are red/brown in colour, and I'm not sure if I should be worried?

Thats what they do. Look at some pics of different stages of bud. Most people wont answer that question coz u should know that

You have either over fed or have a male or hermie spreading pollen.When pollen hits those hairs they instantly turn red or brown..Check for nuts or nanners and you should know if you have overfed or not

When pollen hits the hairs they die and make seeds ,over feed dureing flower and you burn the hairs.Theres 3 ways to get brown hair
1-over feed
2-pollen,male or hermie
3-plants are finishing and they die off
How long you been growing bro?

You over fed then unless its a 45 day strain and Ive only seen one out of the hundreds of strains Ive grown.I had a pheno of space bomb finish in 48 days and my other shit usually takes 9 or 10 weeks

Those are too hot bro,there should not be as many dead hairs

Just finished a harvest of ak48 at day 53. Think a few phenos had brown hairs at week 4. Although i did put them through hell and back.lol

The bud your smokeing looks fine the one growing has too much phosphorus and causes your hairs to brown premature,Im not knocking your weed guys its just better smoke if you can keep from getting them hot with nutes early in flower

Understood... the pic is of my plant in Fox Farms OPM, only some all purpose MG at 1/4 once a month and thats it, no other nutes or anything... It is my first plant and that pic is day 71 of flower, I appreciate your advice for sure though man. What could I do to help her out? OR is it too late?

Its a sign of maturing buds.. but like others mentioned .. watch your nutes.. and look for herms.. because that can make it happen prematurely

Hi all,

Sorry for the stupid question, I did my research, but obviously looks like it's something I missed out, if it's any help, the strain is super skunk, grew from seed, and there about 7 weeks in to flower. if you need to know owt else, let me know :)

I got pics here, I know there about streched a little, there my first grow and very my testing enviroment and learning from mistake, but I have to say, I am still proud of them :) and the tallest plant is amazing, I fucked it up from the start and it's still done well.IMAG0004.jpgIMAG0005.jpgIMAG0003.jpg

Sweet thanks for the pic update. Damn those are lengthy as fuck, but nonetheless better than alot of other shit I seen, very nice especially for a first grow. Natural greenthumb. Well done IMO :bigjoint:
