Does the red light on the power strip affect my dark periods ? I just came out of my room cuz I was looking for any light leakage and the light was from the power strip.

or if you have a timer you can just plug the power strip into the timers outlet so when the timer shuts off it shuts down your power strip. and if you don't have a timer i suggest you get one as they are cheap. as low as 10 dollars at walmart.

That light will not do a thing to your plants I dont care if the light is touching a leaf.

Rule of thumb is darkness is key.... However in saying that the plants can still grow/flower under moonlight in nature so providing the light in your grow enviroment is way less than Moon light and is not of 6500k or 2700k light spectrum your plants will come to no harm, also if you are worried about this either cover the red light with black electrical tape or change the little red light for a little 'GREEN' light and this would not interfear with your grow what so ever because plants cant see green :) - STELTHY

Stelthy I am sorry to argue with you but I think you are sending the wrong message by saying that if it is not 2700k or 6400k you will be all set. That is far from the truth. Those are not the only spectrums plants use. Any spectrum in between will cause problems but not from an 1/8 watt indicator light.

Ok it was a bit of a mixed message, what I meant was : in the wild cannabis still grows from seed to bud through sun (DAY) and moon (NIGHT), (its never 100% dark), Because of the moon.
Also If you note that the spectrums found in most growrooms (except LED etc) are mainly either (6400k-BLUE-MH etc) or (2700k-RED-HPS/SON-T) and The possible Green (night lights) from time to time, The red and blue spec grow lights can and will damage the plants night cycle if left on, the green will NOT harm the plant at all! I agree completly that the 1/8th watt red indicator light wont harm the night cycle, BUT as an added piece of mind to either block it out or change it to green would be even better than having any other type of light showing - STELTHY

I left a single CFL that's about 8 feet above my plants on all night last night, but I'm not really worried about it. Neither should you be about that red light.

Someone told me that small little light sources that leak into the flower room can make your Bitches, Herm.
