Hello
I'm working on my first set up, I bought 4 2700K and hooked them up as seen in the pic.

I was visiting a friend who is experienced in a few closet cfl grows and bigger ones outside when he stayed in Madrid, And when i explained my flowering lights set up he assured me with a smug Spanish smile that this will not work amigo.

The plan is to grow 4-6 clones
The dimensions are 33cm Length 30cm width

builbs 20w 2700k 1152L

Hey man
Works out to be just under 5000L for just under a sq foot, Its gonna be covered with a reflector and reflective sheeting around the grow area, grow area is about 54cm x 64cm btw.
Mabe it could flower 2 plants..?
Peace

You will be able to flower under them, its just a matter of how much yeild you would get from $30 worth of fluros. My guess is about a ¼oz, if that.

if its what you got it will have to do, a little 70 watt hps would flower better though
I completely agree...

I know how it is to grow on a budget though.

I would recommend using these lights with whatever else you can afford in there just as supplemental lighting. Your HPS for flower will provide more red wavelengths than a MH and still has the blues and whites the plants need and love. But if you put these lights in with a HPS, for flower, then you will have better results than if you just did the HID and much, much better than just under the reds you have.

Sound advice, thanks dude, i might be able to get a borrow of a red 125 w cfl to go along with these bulbs but if not,£25 wont break the bank :)
