have you started to feed yet? if you have by how much? when i was experiencing this it was due to underfeeding, but more information about your nutes an feeding schedule would give a clearer picture of whats going on, also like the dude above suggested pic with your grow lights off would be better also

Well I haven't been feeding, I'm in FFOF gave them a light feeding of 20/20/20 last night.

LEDs make everything more red but its obvious it's not just the light. The top is pink/red bottom of stem is green. Also took picture with flash to try to get a more accurate color.

i dont really see anything unusual imo, some strains do that. maybe its more severe than normal i suppose, can you show me a few more pics please?

well if you are 3 days into flowering i would imagine its time to feed anyway, how long was your veg cycle for? if you cure the problem the purple stems wont go away but new growth should remain green, honstly maybe its a genetic trait of the strain ur growing but when my girls started doing this they were hungry

Yah i talked to a few people that use LEDs and they seemed to think i was low on nutes as well. I vegged for a little over 3 weeks. Next time they need watering ill hit them with a bit heavier nutes (think my first attempt was too light).

Ill have pics tonight when its on the light cycle, most are just a slightly pink but one is vivid hot pink. All seem rather healthy and robust though.

Thanks for the replies and assurance :)

What strain is that, red stems are quite normal depending on the strain. But if it is not one of those strains....then going by the deep color in the fan leaves they may have a little too much nutrients for their liking.

A light feed of 20/20/20 for small plants, in potting mix, can last them much longer than larger plants.

I would suggest the opposite to you about the next time you water. You might want to give them straight water then feed them the following watering.

They are relatively small plants so if you are using prenuted soil, I doubt they would have consumed all the fertilizer from that soil yet. Your eyes should be your number one guide. Dark leaves are dark leaves no matter what the technical numbers are telling you.

Plus it looks like you may need a bit more lighting in there as well....assuming you are moving lots of air through your grow space?
