RED/Purple?

Ok, i have a bunch of mixed breed plants, not sure what they are, the seeds were a gift..... 4 of them i know are a totally different strain then the rest, seeds came from somewhere else...

They are the tallest, darkest, and stinkyist.... Well lastnight it got cold out and when i got up this morning, my stem and brances were solid red/purple color.... Esp. on my 7ft. female.... (this only happened on the 4 plants)

Is this normal or is something going on, because it seems the leaves have started on some branches to shrink up like if you tried to hold a lighter under a cigarette cellophane... These are the only 4 plants like this, and i have never seen any pictures that describe what these leaves look like.... The leaves have no yellowing or anything, they are a very pronounced dark green color, but seem to be "dry and shriveled" on the affected areas where the brances are red.... Top of the plant stem and brances are still green, its worse at the bottom of the plants.... :joint::joint::joint::evil::evil::evil:

hope this helps,
When plants are too cold they turn purplelish red
im sure they will be fine if the temp doesnt drop again
good luck

ps. not sure about the whole shriveling thing, underwatering maybe?
