Heya! I moved it into a tent under some new lighting and it seems to be doing quite well, new growth shooting up. Some of the older fanleaf stems are turning red though. Is this normal?

I'm also thinking about transplanting into a 5 gal pot on friday. I still have no idea if it's a girl or a boy, but im hoping for the best! Does it look healthy? any tips on transplanting would be awesome aswell!

Thanks alot!

-It does look healthy, thick stems, nice color on leaves, and side growths look ready to pop up and become tops

-I would recommend topping her now and using some LST to bush her out and get a nice flat canopy for more yield, then after she has recovered transplant her. ( this is assuming she is already in a 1-3 gallon pot )

-Stems turning red / purple can be a sign of a deficiency, however red can also be strain related

-What size / type of pot are they in now ?

-Soil or soiless ?

-Transplanting ( how I do it, I recommend looking into it more yourself but this works for me )

1-let the current pot dry out prep the new pot with soil and a hole big enough to fit the old pot in

2-if its a fabric pot roll it down like a condom and pinch the bottom to un-stick any roots

3-Run your hand between the pot and the dirt to loosen its grip on the pot and roots, then place the stem of the plant between your middle and index fingers with your palm on the soil and attempt to separate the plant + dirt in one big piece from the pot If need be flip upside down ( this is where the palm on the dirt helps )

4-Once you have the plant out LIGHTLY loosen up the dirt around the roots making sure not to tear them

5-Place the plant in the pre-made hole, even out the dirt coverage then lightly water ( potentially with 1/4 strength nutes or transplant specific nutes if you have them )

6-PROFIT

Awesome. You guys rock.

Right now it's in a 1 gal container. I'm using fox farms happy frog soil. I did a light watering with 6.8 Ph water and tested the runoff, which is 5.4. So I'm assuming that I'm getting a P lockout.

Is it enough to do a flush? Or should I just correct the ph and rewater with light nutes.

Being my first grow, I want to be as careful as possible. I also want to make sure it's a girl before I go crazy with lsting and topping. Though I wouldn't mind cloning the top, if that's possible?

Red stems like that that dont progress into the leaf veins or in the absense of any other signs of deficiency isnt really a cause for alarm, alot of phenos express that naturally.

Looks healthy to me,imo.

Runoff ph isnt an accurate method of testing soil ph.

If you had a P lockout, you would see more dramatic effects, yellowing necrotic lower leaves,blue/ very dark upper growth etc.

I picked up a supplemental fan for more airflow.

As for sexing, what nodes do the preflowers usually start showing?

I'll try to snap some closer photos when I get home. Maybe y'all can see something I don't!
