ive looked at the climate, but would like to personally hear from people with experience, it doesnt seem like your ladies would get too hot in the summer, although it gets fairly warm around the shasta area, anyone know?

I'm in the foothills above Chico and am on my first outdoor crop. Although the temp here can get above 110, everyone around here seems to now have a card and are growing in outdoor gardens (most right next to their tomatoes!), so I'm figuring high temps won't be a problem other necessitating more frequent watering. Good luck to us both.

I'm above redding, I hear it's hotter down there but my plants take the 90s and 100s all day long without bothering them . . .

I hear cannabis can take temps beyond 115 with proper hardening up and plenty of water.

thanks folks, appreciate the open responses.

With light dep, when is the latest i can have my medical crop planted? Im looking at being right around south redding or somewhere around cottonwood. Possibly even north redding, so im sure the climate gets colder quicker the closer to the mtns. u go

Thanks!
