Gave the clones a haircut. 4 leads each is what they get.
Anybody wanna venture a guess how much longer these girls got?
How the fuck do I get those cat hairs off my buds? I hate having cats, never getting any more pets. It really sucks to accidentally smoke one of those.

I read that plants are ready when 70% or so of your flowers have browned. From the looks of it your almost there unless the camera makes the color slightly different or I am looking at the wrong part of the plant.. They look beautiful none the less. I am going to guess within the next week they will be ready?

I had to tie up some of the heavier branches to other ones to keep them from falling over. Guess that's the problem when your plants get too tall to support themselves. The tallest one is 44 inches, the middle one about 39and the shortest just under 36 inches. Next time I wanna do 8 plants at 24 inches tall with 4 leads each. Sound good or less leads?

It's day 40 so another week to two. One looks like might finish a bit sooner, the others look like they might take the full 50-55 days I was planning on. I see a lot of people online saying 70-85 days for this strain, but I just don't see that happening with my ladies.
I started using straight water this week, so it'll be 2-3 weeks of flushing by the time they come down.

you dont need to flush and the way i tell is when all the red hairs are receeded into the bud

I always flush. I can tell when I get bud that wasn't flushed properly; Burns like shit and the end of the bowl is a chunk of nasty black shit that tastes like ass.
I judge by the trichomes, which is more accurate than judging by hairs imo.

Thanks, brother. I do use the calyxes as a secondary sign of readiness. As a matter of fact the one I was planning on taking down first, is coming down tonight. I took the plant out last night and gave it a once over with the scope and most of the trichomes are already cloudy. I will take the main buds off, raise it up and let the rest finish for anther few days. I think this one was stressed too much and it made it finish early. The plant was always messed up looking and took forever to recover from stress. I think I'll be luck to get a half ounce to 3/4 off her. The rest of the girls look like they definitely use some more time though.
