Reflecting Light w/ Mirrors

Hello Again,

My roomate has lined our grow box/setup with mirrors. Will lining our space with mirrors actually help our set up or is it just waisting space? We have 2 plants about 1-16 inches high that seem to be healthy and growing about an inch every day and a half indoors under a couple CFL's and a 60W spot growlight just cause we have 1. I just started bending 1 of them too to promote side growth since they are kinda tall and strectching. Any other tips?
To help grow? I will post pics in a day or 2 when I get a camera.
Also, how long until I should start seeing side growth from bending the plants?

no mirrors absorb light and you dont want that.
idk how long it should take for branches to form tho.
just watch how you water and feed and it all come naturally with a lil reading

I've been told to use the dimpled mylar. It reflects ~95% of heat. I'm not sure if this is the same stuff but I've always wanted to try it.

bad idea mate! dun use mirrors! paint the walls white!

I agree just paint the walls flat white or put up some mylar.. rather than bend the tops of the plants just top the main stem and they should bush out very well.
