Regarding 300w CFL

Hey guys, typical newb here with what prob seems like dumb-ass questions but I need some help.

I bought a 300w CFL, its a Giant Edison Screw type as far as I know.

I have been to lots of stores looking for a holder big enough to screw this bulb into and have had no luck. Could someone please tell me a store that sells one or point me to site online.

Oh and I'm from the UK, tried homebase, maplin etc.

thats because the large socket is for HID style electricity. My understanding is that you need to wire that a different way then just plugging in an adapter.

Yeah, may aswell get all the output I paid for!

my seedlings will be breaking soil in the next couple of days (hopefully) - so this fixture better hurry its ass up!

Yeah good idea, would be a shame to have them break soil and find no light :(

annoyed at myself for not being ready, too eager, classic newb mistake! :P
