reggs man i leave for three days and all hell breas loose? lol just playin but seriously get some h2o2. i have dealt with root rot and i used h202, it worked miracles man the small system i have with 2 plants in it was developing the first signs of root rot about a week ago and browning roots. i used h2o2 and 2 hours later they were nice and white again. the hydrogen peroxide in the h2o2 acually eats away the bacteria and will help your roots to turn healthy white again. stay strong brother and keep us updated

thanks tranc, and yupp I just dumped a full 16oz bottle of 3% in my 30 gal rez. thats all I had lying around at my house, but tomorrow I am gonna run out and get a bottle of 50% if its even available in this wierd state... I know I can get food grade 35% so im sure them roots will be golden in just a few more days (i meen white. lol)..

no. only use food grade. please only use food grade. do not and i repeat do not use the normal grandmas medicine cabinet hydrogen peroxide. and remember that the effect of the h2o2 in your rez will normally only last about 72 hours before you need to add more. dont run it constantly but only when you have rot issues and you should be fine. your roots will NEVER return fully white because of the brown stain but they will be healthy again.

oops too late granny already put her hand in my rez its only 3% so what more harm could it do...... gonna do another rez change and flush tomorrow anyways hope thats not too late...

lets hope not. but if its only 3% in that big a rez you should be fine. dont do it again though lol and flush tomorrow also food grade would be my second choice. i use the actual h2o2 from nutralife plant products its the cleanest source available. and ratio is 3ml per gallon for this blend. relitavely cheap as well.

OLACK...! Is the word of the day cause they are on there way MO.. tomorrow is another power flush of all the roots followed by a looong h2o2 soak and then another light ppm rez and root inoculant that I aquired at that grow show I went too last week... also im gonna be placing 2-4 air stones in my table however many I can find lying around that is. and I will have them come on every time the table fills... I think that should help some as well.. I already have one in the rez, but maybe that just isnt enough.. my max water temps only got up to 74degrees and thats right as its leaving the table and lights have been on for 9hrs... sounds good to me...?

The temps on yours sounds right from the research ive done recently so
not sure what happened there man. Just have to hope it doesnt happen again!

in my opinion you can never have too much air for those roots. im gonna be running a 27 x 5 gallon dwc next go around with a 120 gallon rez for them all and even while the solution is circulating im gonna have the biggest air stone possible in each bucket and a shit ton of them in the rez. if i have learned one thing its that those roots LOVE oxygen. i have also learned EXACTLY how to set the water at different times to make the roots grow exactly how i want them to. my studies and research have concluded though that roots growing vertical have the best tendencies to yeild more than roots grown horizontal, thats why i will never make a tubing pvc setup, im dwc for the rest of my life.

I take RIU with a grain of salt brother, there are a few people I speak to on here that give good advice and they really care to help folks out, and others, and sadly I would say most just like being assholes. A few of the people I rely on for answers are allready following your thread I believe let me know if you need me to point out who i ask questions of that will give you real and straight answers and not give up type responces.

Yeah but is it as frustrating as the last finishing touches of building a grow room? and worse yet is I still have my exhaust and my intricate hood hanger still to install, and the last part of my intake still. now that my brotha is frustrating
