I'm gearing up for my first grow but I'm a little short on cash. I have everything set up except nutrients and I was wondering if I could just use a 12-4-8 for the entirety of the grow because I'm a little short on cash at the moment.

Nah. You can use that for vegging... and then get Miracle Grow Bloom Booster for flowering.
