So here's my story: I began growing with indoors and I went to a weed fest where I was given free coco coir substrate and nutes and so I grew my first auto plants with it and the results were satisfactory. I realize now that that coco coir had something in it, like nutes already, since it said not to feed the plant in 1 month.
Well, I know used coco coir again, but just regular one and all of my plants got stunted until I realized through this forum that it needed to be constantly soaked.
The plant on the left grew in coco coir and got stunted after 3 weeks, and now is 10 weeks old and starting to flourish, it will yield very little. The one on the right is 4 weeks old and growing in soil I bought in a nursery mixed with sheep dung. I used 30% more dung than recommended and haven't added any nutes in 4 weeks. It is growing strong, super green and beautiful with 0 deficiencies and very little care and waterings. I think coco coir is bullshit, I think its purpose is money grabbing. They are both growing with natural sunlight in my balcony overlooking a Mexican beach, I only use supplementary led lighting at night to keep them vegging. They are both Choco Candy by Zambeza. The stunted one has more sativa-like leafs but I don't know if is is due to the nute deficiency-stunted growth. Check for yourselves:
