Remote ballast cooling in a stealth box

Next question for me. I really want to place the remote ballast inside the stealth box I am building. If I built a small box inside my box and had one or two 3.5" axial fans (not sure of the exact cfm but they do move air--came from a big server) would I damage the remote ballast?

Oh ya almost forgot the axial fans would be supplying air from outside the box and exhausting outside too...
