Remove 2-3inch net pots?

Hello,

Sorry, I am not sure where to post this.

I started two plants in a aero system using 2-3 inch net pots and just now transplanted them into individual 5 gal buckets. I was waiting on a delivery of new air stone tubing so roots were more developed then I wanted.

Can I leave them in those small net pots when transplanting? As said, I did though my wife said I should cut them out. I just didn't want to damage them nor risk damage of the roots. If someone with more experience says I should I will. This is only my second grow with this system.

Thank you.

I'm sure there's no need to remove them from the netpots, you would damage the roots, that's a no no.
