removing dead leaves

my plants are about 4 1/2 weeks old. Despite a shaky start, they are healthy plants. However, in the time when I had the wrong nutrients, a few lower leaves died. How do I remove the leaves? do I break the branch off at the main stem, or just remove the leaf?

just PULL on it. If it doesn't come off, the leave it on

If its dead, then I pull it off (just the leaf). Dead plant matter can attract pests, and its unsightly (if that matters to you).

i just let the leaf tell me when it wants to come off if its not time don't make her do anything she doesn't want to.
