ok.. so i got the 3 ff nutes.. grow big, big bloom. tiger bloom. unfertilized potting soil with marine cuisine from ff

Im thinking of buying some ph up and down solution.

but my question is.

Do i have to mix my nute solution with the water. let it stand for 24 hours... check the ph of it.. and if its not around 5.8sh (i think thats a good level for water) i put in some ph up or down into it?

then feed the plants with it?

1 more question

if the ph of my soil starts to go down or up... can i just add ph up or down into some water and feed the plant with that??

ty.. sorry if this confuses u..

i really dont want nute burn

If you have to let your water stand for 24 hours because of clorine, then let it sit for 24 hours then mix your nute solution to that and it should be good.
I've never trusted soil testers, so I would just test the ph of your nute solution when you water and if you have concerns, test the run off. Although if your using good soil and your plants have been growing fine, then just testing the nute solution, should suffice.

as long as the soil has no nutes the ph should not change... i would do exactly what demonic said..... let the water stand then mix in the nutes... ph test it then feed the babies... thats what i did sort of for a friend im growing hydro he is in soil... i gave him three gallons of mixed nute water so he would have plenty for a while... (premix)

Well my soil has never changed from 7(testing it with a soil tester from HD).. so I just check the ph of my water and make sure its under 7 like at 6.8 6.5 and my plants have never had any problems with that, for some reason my soil wont change from 7.. dont know why

To much being said on PH, cannabis is PH tolerant,
Anything you have to add to your plants must always be mixed before, anything i use has been mixed and standing for a min of 24hrs.
Best of luck in your project.

Also the plants your doing in soil only need water for the first 2/3 weeks, they will get what they need from the soil.
You need to get yourself a good book and read as much as you can, fill your head with info, its best to know about the basics before you start your grow instead of asking questions as you go along, again you live and learn.

Just breathe, relax. Make sure you just use your corectly ph'd water. Don't worry about soil testing, unless it's run off.

Rob is right you're making it to complicated for yourself.

I know what you mean. A lot of us were at that point once. The hardest thing to do when you are going into the experience stage is to slow down and not let everything get to you. It almost seems overwhleming at first, but a little while later, everything will be second nature. It's like Robinbanks said, it's a weed. It might not be the highest yield you'll get the first time around, but you'll learn a lot and the plant is hard to kill.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck.
