i just switched to hydro and still have alot of jiffy peat pucks,can iuse them in my ebb and flow system.i want to use the jiffy pucks for cloning and then stick them in containers filled with clayrotton balls.

I would be worried about the jiffy pucks breaking down and dropping debris into the clay and eventually into the pump system and plugging things up. That's why I use rockwool cubes. I know it's done though, with the ones that have a net around them.

Thats exactly what happened to me. Now I only do my clones in a DIY aero cloner

Another thing to be concerned with is that when you mix mediums in hydro, you'll don't want two mediums that dry out at substantially different rates. That being said, if you used your peat pucks with 6x6x6 rockwool cubes, you'd be fine, as that's what I do.
 
i use jiffy in my dwc they work fine!!the netting on the jiffy holds together nicely.i dont like the jiffys for seedlings doesnt hold or i mean attach new tender roots well. yep im baked:!:bongsmilie
