Yeah but what about the curtains?

The granny one is difficult, i think it is a play on the fact that the stairs lead upto the table but she couldnt of used them cos of her legs.

BUT - if you look at the curtain rail it ends up in the middle of the room... so it could be that she has put curtains all around the room (including the door) but the rail comes out to the middle so she can walk round them to get out of the door.

that dead girl thing is deep!!

Maybe its as simple as, in one window (to her right) its daylight.....In the other window(behind her) its night......
