I know how you feel ... there are some accepted inaccuracies that are as nails on a blackboard to me. But I have found it necessary to choose my battles. There aren't enough minutes in the day to be chasing them all down. But in the end, both of us as verbal curmudgeons will expire largely unheard. :( cn

Like I said before, the only poll that was important was on election day and there isnt anything to argue over about the result of that.

I used to be bothered when people called every tissue a kleenex, don't know why, it just did. Glad I got over that. My current annoyance is irregardless, don't know why, it just does. Can't wait to get over this one.

Biological and chemical weapons have remarkably poor tactical utility. Nukes otoh are immediate and rather positive in their effects. I realize that the leaders of this country have declared bio, chem and radiological weapons to be equivalent, but imo that's just moral contortion to justify a nuke'm policy.

I would really rather not see nukes used in combat ever again. The novelty factor of almost 70 years ago (!) isn't there any more. cn
