(although i am a newbie) THX!

The grow tent I want to purchase is 224 cubic feet (8x4 & 7 feet high).

I'll run two 1000w hps in 8'' blockbuster hoods

One 8'' mountain air filter<----MA0820=360cfm OR MA0840=810cfm

Diagram of air flow:::: ---->carbon filter--->hood--->hood--->inline fan--->(Fan is outside tent sucking everything out of tent)

Is it possible/practical to exchange my tent's air AND remove 2000 watts of heat using one inline fan with a HIGH CFM? What is the most efficient design my my setup?

Yes, I am definitely getting a matching 8'' fan. The strongest 8'' inline i could find is 745cfm. Obviously a 745cfm can handle my 224cf grow space. My main concern is removing the heat from both lamps. How fast does the air need to move to accomplish this?

8 inch will be plenty I've seen people use 6 inch ones.

Fir3dragon, thank you so much for helping me. i really needed to get the info confirmed before placing an order. So a 8'' 745cfm Vortex will handle 2,000 watts and exchange 224cf keeping my temps fairly decent? Not trying to be redundant just wanted to be absolutely sure. Im getting the vortex for the 10 year warranty

i run 2 600 watts with a 400 cfm fan ..............it works well if u combine it with a powered intake/ passive for the rest of the cfms u will be fine

2 600 watts 4x4x6 400 cfm fan exhust a 240cfm fan intake with passive sytem
outside air going in around the low 70s high 60s the vent point in the tent reads about 78 to 82
