Moved in with a couple friends a few months ago, they tried to impress me with a plant they were growing. They had it in a tiny ass pot, looked like It hadnt been watered in two weeks, about six inches tall, growing off some tiny fluorescent tube with an opaque cover, and obvious spider mite damage. I told them to chuck it and start over, but they refused because it was a sour diesel seed. So I told them to look into a way to kill the mites, which they swore they would do that week. The next week I made them a grow box and set up some cfl lights to try and save the plant. Transplanted into a four gallon pot, got correct ph water going into it, and let it go a couple weeks in veg. Once it was looking better, I switched to 12/12 and began flowering. A week in some beautiful hairs popped out and it was looking great. Problem is I stupidly forgot to make sure they dealt with the mites. Turns out they didn't, and so began my woes. I noticed some black specks under the leaves and knew it was fucked. I made some caliclean from habeneros and that seemed to hold them down. Seemed to work till week six of flowering, then I saw them come back with a vengeance. Made more pepper mix and killed what I could, but I was uneasy. Week seven they came back, and I knew I wasn't gonna win. Turns out the soil was mad infested. I let it go five more days, but I wasn't gonna risk my crop. So I ice shocked her for three days and then went 48 hours in the dark. yesterday I uprooted her, rinsed off the dirt from the root ball, and put her in a pitcher of ice water. Trimmed off the fan leaves, but now I dunno what to do. I am mite free in the pitcher, but the soil was littered with bugs. The hairs are still mostly white, and the trichs are just starting to cloud. Should I just abandon all hope to get her ripe and just start drying? I'd hate to waste all that work, but I don't wanna waste more time. Any suggestions?
