Actually my first real grow was hydro so i think im just partial to it. Just use an organic fert and have ur cake and eat it too

LoL, I should become a salesman for this damn thing but the milwaukee 600 is 20 bucks and works perfect! I'm going on like 5 months or something now and I haven't even had to re calibrate it!! Check it out.

I have the little guys under 150 watt hps plus some 6500k cfl's. Also, it's 89 degrees outside right now where I live so I set them outside in the real sun for many hours of the day and they seem to love it. I just bought a 1000watt digital dimmable lumatek system( i've been drooling over the digi thousand watters for a while now and finally got one). It should be here in 2 days. I figure with the thousand watter light should never be an issue for me again. I'm gonna run just the 4 plants under the thousand watter and I have 2 more 150 watt hps's that I'm gonna hang sideways beside them. I'm also gonna LST, tie the tops down to the other side of their pots when they get long enough to reach. I'm hoping to grow some monsters! I'm definately most interested in the KK though and cant wait to see the end result here so I'll know what to expect from my lady.

Concerning ph, all I do is adjust the ph of my nutrient sollution untill I have it where I want it and I water away. Thats the only ph testing I've ever done and i do that with a simple dropper kit. I've never checked the ph of my soil and I've never had any problems as long as the ph of my nute sollution was correct. Definately, nothing I've ever obsessed over. Its never given me a problem in soil. Should I be checking the ph of my soil?
