Yea that why I cant do scrog right now lol...

New pics coming in a sec. Of the box and KK.
Okay I will hang around. My daughter has been screaming her head off tonight and the result is being exhausted! Time for bed....Oh, you have em up already. Yeah, that's more like it. Looks great. I think you are gonna get an outstanding yield. When does the guessing game begin because I will partake in this one...nevermind, that was the pics from 10 days ago, see how tired I am?

Great setup! I think you are looking at several oz at the minimum. That 5 gallon bucket made all the difference I think.
thats impressive bro....nice work...more rep when im allowed to give it
Looks Great Smelly!
Thanks a lot guys, its nice to be able to share it with a few people that I know appreciate what goes into this! I'm loving the new setup, I'm still trying to figure out the intake so I can seal the whole box when the lights on but its a hell of an improvement for now. No sure if my makeshift carbon filter is working but I'll give it a few days and let you guys know. Most likely I'll need a nice one... Well only a few more photo shoots before this ones in the books!!:hump:I can't wait!!!:joint::joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

I understand that. Ever since I put that screen in the room, getting to anything is a bitch! I bought a funnel with a hose, used for oil changes, to water my plants because I cannot reach them otherwise. Pruning is a real bitch.
There's a guy in the 600 thread that addressed a problem like that by using a small, cheap pump connected to some tubing with a garden hose adapter hose on one end that's got a spray nozzle on it. The pump just get's put in a bucket of water and then he turns on the pump so he can water his plants that are in the far corners of his room. I'm sure it'd be possible to do something similar to that that would work for your situation. I'm going to be making one for myself to save some time trying to water all of the plants in my vert grow.

Sick trees Smelly!... Im starting small and workin up to what I hope will be something along those lines. I found a pan cover at WalMart that has a carbon filter w/ a wire screen that could be cut to whatever size you needed, for like $10. Incase yours doesnt workout..

That's a sexy setup..the kandy kush looks like its getting alot more light now with the film up...
Thanks nuno, she sure is :) and more heat! I'm realizing I need a 400 watt air cooled hood to really take advantage of this setup but for now I have to try and make this work.

What would be a good intake with a 265cfm exhaust fan and carbon filter? I was thinking maybe one of the inline duct booster fans for intake maybe like 100cfm or so? I need to figure out something, the 70 cfm computer fan I have doesn't seem like its going to work..?? Any ideas would be great!

Nice setup there smelly! +Rep once I spread it around some.
Thanks bro, I appreciate the rep! You and everyone else in the last few pages got repped be me last night. Now I can't give anymore for 24 hours haha, its becoming a routine now lol..

The new setup looks great! Congrats on a nice DIY tent, looks well built.
What size is that MH light?
THanks bro, I took my time on it! Its a 250 mh. THe problem now like I said above, the temp. The ballast is connected to the light so I think thats most of my problem. That and having a proper intake fan... I'm working on figuring out the kinks though, If I leave the one side open I can kind of control the temps but I want to be able to seal this tihng up completely as that was the point in making it!

I think a 400watt cool tube is in my future :)

Thanks sinistrox, That exactly the way I did it!

hell yeah bro, the new grow room looks great man!! real nice, and the plants, well, you know, LoL. awesome bro!!
Thanks homie, now back to moving fans around and playing with temp haha..

I have a 250w hps with an attatched ballast and it was fucking hot! When I moved it into my tent the temps soared, I now have a 400w air-cooled fixture, and it's awesome, the temps are reasonable and it's A LOT lighter than the 250 compact, if you get a cool-tube, you'll fucking love it.

Nice job on the tent man, that thing is nice. What kind of material is it? that image on the outside looks crazy haha

man TreeZ that new box is looking good bro.. I'm wanting to build something like that and I'm thinking of going hps for flowering when I do.. Build one for flower and one for veg, will probably continue to use cfls for veg and will keep the pc for mother plants or something I dunno lol... I'll rep you again when I can.. bongsmilie

One of those duct booster fans should work well for you on that. I use one of the 8" ones to cool my vert that's got two 600s in cooltubes and it's not great but it's getting the job done. Another guy on here uses two of the 6" ones in a 'Y' configuration to cool a 1000W HPS light and it works for him.

At one point i was using a 9" desk fan that was screwed into a 2gal bucket with a 4" hole cut in the bottom. I just ran 4" ducting from the light to the bucket and used a dimmer switch wired to the fan to control the speed. It would keep the room cool during the summer months on abotu 75 percent power with an air cooled hood and a 400w HPS. I didn't have my ballast in the room though, it was mounted on the roof of the room.

Those booster fans have ratings that are all over the place. Only look at the 'free air' ratings because that'll tell you what it'll pull/push. The boosted rating is the fastest the fan have air flowing through it before becoming more of a restriction than a booster. 6" ones are typically about 130CFM and the 8" ones are around 250CFM. Good luck, you'll get it handled.

Thanks up, that makes me feel a little better! I'm going to get one within the next month hopefully :) What kind of 400 do you have and what did you pay for it? One more thing, what are the temps @ ambient and under you lights with the air cooled hood?

Its visquine plastic thats black on the outside and white on the inside. "lightproof" It worked well, I'm thinking of making a door for the very front. Basically the only part you can get to haha...The part thats open in that pic. Thats just a poster I had in my closet lol, I'll probably put that on the door because it looks cool

What are you temps at?
Today with that side in the pic open it was steady around 89-90 with ambient temps in the closet at 84-85. When I open my window in the room the temp obviously drops tremedously but I can't do that every day when the temps increase lol..

I have 2 ideas.

#1.) I think its probably the most important. Vent the hot exhausted air into the attic and not back into the closet. Thats whats making the temp go up in the closet and room I think. If that dropped the ambient 4-5 degrees that would help a lot!

#2.) Get a nice intake fan and seal the box up.

I'm not going to worry about it to much for the rest of this grow seeing they where pretty hot throughout the whole grow.. but I would like to test and figure everything out when this KK finishes up which its actually showing sighns of slowing down and maturing so its should be soon! Anyway I'm rambling but I knew heat was going to be an issue expecially beacause I want to seal this box up completley and my ambient temps are pretty warm in the room. Between 75-80.

I love the smell of kush in the morning!
Lookin good dude!
Me too :blsmoke: Thanks bro:joint:

Thanks Monko, thats pretty much what I'm doing! I'm not trying to do anything perpetually at this point so taking clones around 2-4 weeks in to flowering would work out perfect for me and I only need my little cab to veg them while they wait there turn:twisted:

Thanks for the info dez, I think the 6" one would probably work out well but is 75 degrees intake @130 cfm going to be enough to cool all that light and ballast sealed up is the question with the 265 for exhaust?

Oh I took the carbon filter off when it was around 90 and it didn't seem to make a difference but its definitely moving more air.

I'm thinking I really need to vent the hot air to the attic, that is just obvious and I overlooked it:neutral:

On a side note the lights are off and there around 70 degrees :)
