the yellow leaves are the cutting feeding off itself till it develops roots, correct?

ok, well i did some reading before i did my clones and came across that, it said dont worry about the leaves turning yellow at first because of that, and sure enough, they did, LoL. so i guess its normal. my pink girls took over 2 weeks to develop roots.

its weird though because only about 25% actually do that and the rest just grow beautifully and the old growth grows healthy with it... im wondering if its strain dependant or perhaps it has something to do with temps or the amount of water/nutes they were given prior to cutting?

Thats why I was asking, I've heard of people doing it that way before!! Its crazy the roots will shoot out when its submerged in water. Looks good though!! Is that nirvana WW ?
I've noticed that too. I haven't took many clones off my personal girls but I've had experience in the past few months taking a bunch of clones helping friends and very few would turn yellow but all of them pretty much made it with the jiffy pelets and rootech! The ones that did turn yellow seemed like they too a little longer but still rooted.
I actually took some clones off my first grow "shortrider" which is supposed to be an auto and they are 2 ft tall and just went under the 1k watt at a friends! Where also hand watering them in the 4" rockwool cubes until we get the flood/drain table setup. Hopefully everything will be coming together in the next few months and after this grow I'll be making a new thread
now I gotta build a scrog frame..Cant find any more wood so im going to go to the hardware store in a bit

Nope turned out not to be a true auto but Nirvana hooked it up so I made out
I grew them my first ever grow and I was waiting for 10 weeks for the first batch to autoflower under 20/4 light schedule lol.. That was a mess, then I had 3 of the 4 turn male and I was left with the smallest one that almost died right away but I saved her and she ended up getting 4 feet tall and surrounded with cfl's lol..
It was supposed to be a "micro grow" lmao..

Today is the start of week 4 veg..All are the same age besides the LSD..that one should be 7 weeks veg but my something happened and it get ripped out the rockwool and got all leaves pulled off when it was about a week old only thing left was a twig but my girl nurtured it back to life and after a about 2-3 weeks it started to grow again..

Hey ST, been a while. If you want to try something that does work, try drowning one. Put it in a bucket larger than the one it is in now and fill with water to cover the old container to soil level. It is recommended for the last 7-10 days. I did a rushed 5 day drowning and there was a noticeable difference from the rest. It speeds up the fermentation process and virtually eliminates curing. I read about it on Riddleme's thread and it worked for me.
BTW, what are some of the more experienced growers in here's thoughts on an extended dark period? I haven't tried it yet but I was thinking of maybe trying 36 hours on the angry midget if its really worth it.. The only thing is a cant really compare it because I've never tried this strain before and I don't have any clones?? Thanks for any input and you guys already know I rep like a mad man lol..
