Reservoir circulation

Do you guys use something to circulate your reservoir? I’ve been curious if it’s better to have the water moving around instead of stirring it up every watering

You dont need much, all depending on noise situation you can go completely silent with a small aquarium pump you will get really good circulation and aeration with a spraybar at the top of your tank...a spraybar is an easy diy...a pipe, a plug, an aquarium pump, a 1-2mm drillbit, suctioncups or something to fix the pipe lengthwise at the top of the tank. There are good guides for this at aquarium sites, or just buy one premade, if you can find one suitable for your tank...best circulation if the spray start above water and break the surface 3/4ish towards the opposite side of the tank...Atleast it is a very efficient way to mix nutes evenly and fast, it create sort of an horisontal vortex lengthwise in the tank, but it depends on tank shape I guess.

Personally i prefer a silent constant circulation over a noisy stirring

a wave maker should be fine i would think. if you think you need something better, a small submersible pump is less that 15 bucks. then some plastic tubing and some plastic elbows makes a nice waterfall
