Im trying to build an elevated stand that can accommodate these water barrels (75, 55, 40 x3 gallon). My goal is to get them high enough to fit a 5 gallon bucket below for clean outs. I also figure having them off the slab will reduce the chance of colder than desired water.

At this point I’m leaning toward bolting together a rack/stand using unistrut and covering the “deck” with sections of the metal gridding in the picture. My plan is to build it in a configuration similar to what’s pictured.

Just wanted to see if I’m missing anything obvious as far as better alternatives.
I’m shying away from using lumber because of weight and moisture concerns.
Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated!

14" tall dunnage racks will allow a 3-1/2 gallon bucket underneath. Perhaps that would be enough for clean up.

Might need to rethink that rack.
1 gallon of water = 8.3lbs.
You have 250 gallons of containers there for a total of 2,075 lbs of liquid.

That's a lot of weight. (Like a Chevrolet Cavalier kind of weight)...

I agree. That’s also assuming I’d have all the containers full at all times. Obviously that’s the standard I’ll be keeping in mind when building anything but there is some wiggle room in there. I do have the ability to tie whatever I make into studs so I suppose that could help some.
