reservoir water please help.

hey guys so ive been using water from the water and ice store until i hook my ro system u, the water and ice store ppm are at 50 and the ph at 8.0. BUT my question is could i us my garden hose water? the ppm is at 715 and the ph is at 8.3....is the ppm too high?

715 is way to high.

ok thanks that what i was thinking! lol i will continue with the ro'd water!
also though, after i add my nutrients (roots organic line) the ph is a lot higher the following day. its ok to use the water though right? and NOT re-ph the water. I make my batch of notes at the beggining of the week and it last all week i just dilute it with more water every water session untill the following week. that being said though the plants look really healthy!

oh and also when i dilute the res i always ph the water before adding. no matter what the ph is in the res. cause like i said it rises over time. just wanna make sure im on the right track =)

add water then nutes etc then ph adjust then feed. RO water is hard to keep stable. advanced nutrients ph perfect seems to work well for a lot of folks though.
