My plant is 4 weeks and 5 days and still hasn't showed sex and i was looking at my plants i realized that one was getting alot of white dots about the size of dust and kinda sticking off the leaves but i cant really tell. i was wondering if they are the resin crystals at this age? Im using 2 flor lights (6500k) and lighting has been 12/12 ever since it sprouted.

you need 2700k for flowering, resin is visible from 1 week even in veg theres little resin glands in the leaves, the resin dries up and thats what your seeing. good luck.

spider mites are translucent when they are younger...
and i would have kept it from18 day/ 6nite, for atleast 2 weeks
then switch it 12/12. doubt it's the resin-heads(n)

I no i have 1 2700k bulb but idk when to switch over to it i mean my plants shouldn't be ready to or flowering right now at least i think because the oldest is only 4 weeks and 5 days old and only has 5 true nodes and the 6th one starting to branch off. Does this mean my resin glands are drying up? and if so is that bad it sounds like it.

I would have if my camera wasn't so crappy when i take a pic i can be standing perfectly still and the plant will be
blurry so you wouldn't be able to see what im seeing.

I dont think they are spider mites.

Well get yourself a 10megapixel camera and then prob we people at RIU will be able to diagnose whats goin on

I know i am trying to grow short plants and i heard some people getting good yields from just 12/12 birth till harvest.

eh, good yeild's no, some yeild.. yes lol you could get anywhere between 1 gram per plant, prolly up to 20 if your lucky, also depends how long it takes to show its sex... good luck!!

i agree with jrank...
there ar som strands that flowe from sproutin,
no mater wut light u give them (strain sweettooth)
hense the pricing. but if u want short oes u could
have styll waited 2weeks to put n to bloom...
an yields 11/2OZ in 21/2 months....
things to thik about or next batch..

...and quality of the smoke will be effected if u bloom to long.
i had thisprob wit my first grow,
i didn't like the size of the bud and all the foliage in the bud.
so u can try ding a hack job... but like so many others on RIU
we love and praise the sacred herb...
if u did u do wut ever u can to make it as perfect as possible for final product.
if not u'll be disapponted, i was:(:( but ow i mastered my shyt

Sound too me that you may have the spider mites check the under side of the leaves if you have you are in for a world of shit these little fu@kers just are so hard to get rid of.
